Develops manufacturing methods,systems and processes; provides product support to engineering andmanufacturing teams; resolves engineering problems; evaluates manufacturingsystems applications and equipment; confirms systems and componentscapabilities; develops manufacturing processes and standards; assures productquality; prepares technical product reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Workswith other functional departments to introduce new products into manufacturingand service.
Justifies,installs, and performs qualification / validation activities on equipment andmanufacturing processes.
Workswith other functional departments to resolve product issues in production.
Providestechnical training support to other department personnel as required.
Developsand implements continuous improvement activities based on Lean, Six Sigma, andFOCUS methodologies.
Developsfixturing / tooling.
Establishesprocess controls on new products. Maywork cross functional with Quality to set up controls.
Reviewstime standards and develops methods for increasing efficiency.
Develops,implements, and responds to corrective actions.
Mayinitiate and implement Engineering Change Orders.
Responsiblefor following all ISO quality systems and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of theknowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing,Electrical, or similar; or four plus years related experience and/or training;or equivalent combination of education and experience. CAD and Electronic Manufacturing experienceare preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret commonscientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries orcomplaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the businesscommunity. Ability to write speeches andarticles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such asexponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations tosuch tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability andvalidity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory andfactor analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions. Abilityto interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical ordiagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual shouldhave knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventorysoftware and order processing systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isoccasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborneparticles, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation and vibration.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
